English Teachers for Adults

Main Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering lessons to Chinese students in classes ranging from one-to-one private lessons to workshops of 30 students in credible educational institutions;
  • Applying electronic media and host institution developed courseware to teach English effectively and efficiently;
  • Evaluating students progress and providing continuous guidance for improvement;
  • Participate in events and activities organized by host institutions for the purpose of English teaching and cultural exchanges;


Qualifications:

  • A genuine interest in teaching English language and learning Chinese culture;
  • Teaching experiences, preferably in EFL or ESL;
  • Bachelors degree;
  • TEFL certificate or equivalent desired;
  • Native English speaker;
  • Aged 21 to 55 (due to requirement of China's Employment Visa);
  • No criminal record;

Directors of English Studies

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing academic support, guidance and training for teachers in credible Chinese educational institutions or business entities;
  • Managing teaching resources, including staff and teaching materials;
  • Supervising and evaluating teachers;
  • Creating curriculum and scheduling classes;
  • Assessing quality of academic programs;
  • Organizing extra-curricular activities;
  • Participating in the development and growth of host institutions;


Qualifications:

  • Two years experiences in teaching TEFL or ESL;
  • Bachelors degree;
  • TEFL certificate, or CELTA, or Trinity TESOL or equivalent;
  • Experience in junior staff management;
  • Aged 24 to 55 (due to requirement of China's Employment Visa);
  • No criminal record;

Main Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering lessons to Children in classes aged 3 to 15 in groups around 10 in credible educational institutions;
  • Applying electronic media and host institution developed courseware to teach English effectively and efficiently;
  • Evaluating students progress and providing continuous guidance for improvement;
  • Participate in events and activities organized by host institutions for the purpose of teaching children English and learning western cultures;


Qualifications:

  • Passionate about teaching English to young learners;
  • Teaching experiences, preferably with young learners;
  • Bachelors degree;
  • TEFL certificate or equivalent desired;
  • Native English speaker;
  • Aged 18 to 55 (due to requirement of China's Employment Visa);
  • No criminal record;

  • Participate in events and activities organized by host institutions or business entities for the purpose of English teaching and cultural exchanges;


Qualifications:

  • A genuine interest in gaining work experiences and learning Chinese culture;
  • Bachelors degree;
  • Native English speaker;
  • Aged 18 to 35 (due to requirements set by host business entities);
  • No criminal record;

Salary levels vary depending on locations and roles: the average ranges between RMB 5,000-13,000 RMB YUAN, equivalent to ?500-?1300 at current exchange rate; ordinary people's monthly salary in small and medium cities is around RMB 3,000 YUAN, whilst in large cities such as Shanghai and Beijing is around RMB 6000 YUAN.
